The anti-sweat temperator valve has a cast brass body with two built inch check valves to prevent cross flow between the hot and cold supply lines. The handle is detented inch the selected positions that adjust the hot water flow rate. The largest hot water flow is obtained with the handle inch a position parallel with the valve body. All of the metal component parts of the valve are brass. The check valve seats are rubber and the stem packing is a reinforced rubber. The temperator with a "RC" suffix has a rough chrome plated finish.
